Mobile Music is a family-owned, full-line music store, serving the Finger Lakes region since 1980. Owner, Tim Chaapel, began the business in the back of his repair van with one workbench and accessories. He would travel to schools, repairing instruments and tuning pianos. After three months, it was clear that he needed a storefront to meet the community's needs. Tim and his wife opened their first brick-and-mortar music store on Niagara Street, successfully for 40 years.

Tim Chaapel, a Certified Musical Instrument Repair Technician, has been servicing 48 area schools in the region, each week for over 40 years with instruments, repairs, rentals, and accessories.
